Annual Chicken Show

Yep, you read that right. CHICKEN SHOW!!!

Two weekends ago, the Hawkins' family hosted their annual Chicken Show at the fair grounds. They have people from Cali, New Mexico, Colorado and lots of other places attend. It is crazy to think people drive so far to show off their CHICKENS!!! But they do!

We went out to check out the chickens and support the fam. Britt entered some of our chickens and they WON!!! He won English Reserve champion and $5!! He was so excited. (I didn't get any pics of him with his champion chicken...oops)

We had a fun day. Can you imagine how loud 700 chickens are??? Yeah, my ears were sure glad when we went home!!!
